I don't equate getting a great return for Georgi as "getting rid of Georgi"
it's a strength, goalie depth is a strength, they should use it to help a weakness
since they can't trade Lundqvist and he isn't going to retire, I think it's the best thing - jimbro83
What would be a good return for Georgi?
Would Tampas 2nd rounder and Georgi get you 30th overall from Calgary? I always find it so hard to accurately gauge a goalies value... |

LMAO. I am not about to defend either the Maple Leafs or Hall & Oates!!
It is NOT a Canadian thing.
Funny thing is, as I read this comment this morning at my desk Hall & Oates was playing on my YouTube feed!! The guys in my band are coercing me into singing one of their songs. These must be the sort of reasons bands break up!! - Tonybere
Hall and Oates are the truth. |

That seems like a bad trade for the Rangers...A solid goalie and a 2nd for a late 1st |

I think Calgary is going to be looking to move one of their higher priced defensemen like Hamonic, Brodie or Stone so they can help create cap space to get Tkachuk signed and then they need a cheap up and coming defenseman like Andersson in their lineup
they play that guy a lot already |

The way it looked Sunday, surprised Alex Killorn will be in lineup tonight #TBLightning. Decision is whether to keep Callahan in and sit someone like Miller or not.

This is an all-time great meltdown. If they lose, ooh boy.
That team's cap is finally about to catch up with them and I'm not sure they'll be able to keep the whole gang together over the next few years. |

The crazy thing is, according to MoneyPuck, the Lighnting still have a 10.6% to win this series. (To me it's over.) But other than firing Jon Cooper what other options does this team have? Can't trade Hedman, Stmakos. Point or Kucherov. |

Getting Point under contract is going to be tough.
Something I'd like to see the Isles do (that the Rangers could also do, but I would like significantly less) is take the final year of Callahan's deal off their hands and make them send Cirelli with him. Gives the Isles a dirt-cheap 3C next year and Callahan's terrible contract goes away after a year. |

If there's anyone that can do it they can, but it's gonna be real tough. I haven't watched any of the games since they've typically been on while the Isles are playing but Tampa is so stacked. If they can get their act together I have no doubt they can rattle off 4 in a row. |
