Avs in 7 thanks to better goaltending.

Avs then beat Vegas in 6.

Avs then beat St. Louis in 6.

Avs beat Nate Dogg's Cole Harbour workout buddy #87 in the Finals (in 6 at The Can).

I like how that sounds! It's going to be a 7 game series, I can't remember the last time we won in Calgary though. That's going to have to change

Flames goaltending needs to be bad for the Avs to even have a chance...what if he plays decent like he has for the last few months?

Rittich also had a really good year

Flames allowed the fewest goals in the pacific division...people talk like they were giving up 6 a night

Best Goaltending in the Pacific Division is kind of like being the Best Restaurant in a hospital...

Well technically the 'Yotes goalies caught them, but yes, the GA stats don't bear out the "bad" goal-tending claim. I think it is more the Smith factor. Smith was 47th in save % out of 54 eligible goalies. With the defense he had in front of him that is cause for concern for any team wanting to make a run to the finals.

Ya well thats not us... we just gave up the fewest goals in our division, which speaks as much to our defense as it does goaltending and why the Av's are in tough. Meh I just want it to start and its the playoffs, anything can and will happen. Just ask Columbus...
