Peter Tessier: Game 1- Jets Host Blues What has to change for the Jets to win this series.

If Maurice moronically keeps Perreault, aka I can't score or make a decent pass person, on the second line and Little and Laine on the same line the Jets will not win this series unless the 1st line can score 4 goals a game. Why can't this stupidly overrated coach see that all season Little and Laine have done next to nothing playing together. Would it kill him to play Laine with Hayes and Ehlers for more than one game? Perreault is at best a 3rd line energy player who gets so many opportunities to play top line and power play minutes by Maurice that he doesn't deserve. Good luck Jets they will need it.

Jets will lose in 5. I say this just based on the play of the past 3-4 months and I don't think they are mentally strong enough to overcome adversity this year. Obviously hoping for a series win but just don't see how that happens. Atleast they made the playoffs two years in a row and hopefully make this a habit going forward.

The way it is being reported all of Winnipeg is predicting a 6 game Winnipeg series win if that happens i wish the jets best of luck just so Nashville doesn't make it.

it is interesting to note that last year prior to the playoffs this team was white hot! This year, especially in the second half, they are playing like the Jets from two years ago and somehow are considered world beaters.

I am through and through a Jets fan and even I am having a hard time believing in this team, especially considering they are playing the best team in the west from January 1st onward. Hopefully they beat the Blues, but who knows....

Maurice believes that its only a matter of time before they start clicking, sometimes chemistry between players takes years to develop.

Not much on predictions, but how can one not pick a Vegas team that went to the finals AND ADDED PACIORETTY/STASNY/STONE?!?!....

That’s a fair point. I think i outlined that issue in the blog. My wallet says Jets Blues in 5 my wish says Jets in 6

I hope this series goes 7 games with OT in all seven. Go Preds!!

One thing I will point out is that the Perreault-Copp duo have played the best of all the lines over the last 20 games, so instead of keeping them together and giving them 15 mins Maurice breaks them up for the first game.

Little has been big so far. Underrated Player.
