The change I would make is not one that will be made. I would bump Blueger to center and put Johnson on the left wing.

They’ll need more than Malkin if they hope to have any chance tonight. Detroit playing free and easy. Pens gripping the stick a little too tightly as making the playoffs as a wild card is not an ideal match up.

Someone help me out here... Is RW a JJ fan or does he not like him?

What they really need is Letang. We can handle a one line team like Detroit without Malkin if we have a defenseman that's actually capable of facilitating offense playing 25-28 minutes of the game.

Pens also need to start getting bodies to the net. Make life hard on them.

@Guile: Scuderi wasn't a tirefire yet before he snapped his leg that season, and I'm pretty sure he played a lot with Letang.

Agreed. Without CL we are weak on the blueline. Just worry about his health not just this year but going forward. He drives possession like no other Dman especially with Schultz’s troubles.

I thought he snapped his leg early into the first season he resigned here?

My memory could be off... but I thought he came back here... was 'okay'... broke the leg... came back near the end and was utter trash. Then Shero did not compliance buy him out assuming he'd bounce back, and he stayed as utter poop.

Scuds was getting his fair share of time with 58 as I recall as well

I’ll be leaving work early once again to catch the game. Hoping they don’t let us down as my former boss is a Wings fan and if they get up he’ll text me asking what the score is...

Letang is such a great player. It's instantly noticeable how much of a difference he makes.
