I could not agree more, you can't win unless you have balance. Edm is proving that right now.

Look back to 2006-2006 coming out of the lockout. for those 2 years we were the one of the most balanced scoring teams in the league and we were outstanding...We rolled 4 lines that could all score. We have 1 line that can score now. Like you said easy to shut down...

Botts greatest error was not replacing ROR with a competent 2nd line C. Even expecting Berglund to fill that was outside of his abilities. I know we as fans don't know how the trade market truly functions and fluctuates daily, so I'm sure it's extremely hard to unload guys like Bogo and Okposo.. but Risto had value last year and you need to hope he still has that value. Scandella was better last year as well and severely regressed. So now you have Bogo, Risto and Scandella all providing negative impact. Then you have Dahlin, Pilut and Montour, who all three aren't exactly aces in their own end, despite providing overall positive impact to the team. Add in the combined dumpster fire of the pointless bottom 6 and you're left with...

We lose out, NJ decides to win a couple games, we may actually hit 3rd. I don't want to sound excited about it because I'm not. But you may as well improve your lotto odds.

I'm not. Shot mentality is the one (frank)ing thing the players listen to. The problem is, the shots are mostly (frank)ing garbage. Quantity and quality are not simultaneous here.

I agree with this...
Why would Skinner resign here? That will be another problem with a team that doesn't produce goals. I know, you have 9.5 million reasons why he signs. We might regret that in 3 years.
Is it the offense or is it the defense that needs to be fixed. We can't think we have to wait for players to mature.. that is a tough wait.

i am mad at the whole franking organization top to bottom. I said in an earlier post that I am finally in a position to get season tickets for the first time in my Adult life ( I had a mini pack this year). I gave my $200.00 bucks to get on this list and as of right now, they can keep it. I will not spend another nickle of my money on this organization until we fix the roster.... i will never tun my back on this team totally but I am closer then I have ever been...

I blame Golisano who wouldn't spend the money when we had the players.
Now we have an owner who is willing to spend the money but can't find the right players to give it to. Very frustrating...

Quality wasn't the best earlier on in the year either though. With how bad we've been I would have guessed that shot generation took a hit too.
