I had the pleasure of meeting Murph and having dinner with him. A good friend of mine has a close friend who is an official and I’ve gotten to meet a few officials and linesman when they come to Philly. Brian was a true gentleman and was only too happy to chat about his life as an official. He gave me a necessary perspective on that side of NHL hockey.
