Another game with Allen in goal, and the Blues lose.

Not blaming Allen necessarily, but there is a trend all year now where the team looks different and/or has a bad result, when Allen is in net.

I know he still needs to play some, but it was puzzling to have him start 2 of the 3 on this road trip. Unless they really will not start Allen on home ice...?

Is it possible for Schwartz to turn it on for the playoffs? Can a player's confidence change that quickly? Or has this season long slump gone on too long and he is what he is showing this year?

Boy the weekend really showed that, didn't it. They were all over Pittsburgh on Saturday and played with confidence.

They were awful yesterday. Just awful. They were fortunate to gain point.

I don't think it fair either, to place all blame for all the world's problems on Allen, but they sure don't feel comfortable with him out there it seems.

And I'm beginning to think that he's just not that smart. He seems to make a lot of the same mistakes continually.

I'm hoping that we don't see him more than maybe two more times this season. And then never again.

Love that we're scoring some goals but we have a lot to improve on if we're gonna win a playoff series

I am thinking that they were just tired. A lot of road games, travel, not having consecutive home games in what seems like forever, etc.

Allen has been playing well as the backup. Binnington should get most of the starts as long as he keeps playing well.
