Petterson should be so lucky he got to touch Kreider's elbow with his face

That's my take

Kreider right call, Lemieux's call was a (frank)ing joke, should of gave 2 to Roussel for not knowing how to skate.

Do you think Tom uses the Rangers tank as a pickup line at the bar. If the girl is not fully on board with blowing it up he gets rid of her

More of a litmus test than a pickup line. "Not on board for the tank? Sorry, you do not get a rose."

No, he picks some dandelions out of the field. If you don't buy roses, the price will fall and it'll be cheaper. You have to apply the tank to all aspects of life

Kreider's elbow was careless and the penalty was both correct and warranted.

Lemieux clearly knew he was going to plaster Roussel as he came across the crease. The optics of the hit and the way the game is ref'd today, a call was warranted even if it is incorrect. If nothing else to help establish and maintain control. They erred when they decided to hand out the major and the match penalty.

Tom is being a little officious on this hit but I understand his point that Lemieux's intent was to clear Roussel from the crease. If Roussel stays upright this is a non issue.

I'm actually on board with this explanation. Considering refs have to make calls in real time, the major call on Lemeuix wasn't the worst call in the world. I just hope when it is reviewed, it's shown that he didn't act carelessly or have intent and that the major is rescinded. Although it would be another thing to slow down game pace, sometimes I wish they could review major penalties like bball reviews flagrant fouls. I think in slow motion you could get that call right.

I was wavering between a bachelor style rose ceremony and a shark tank style "and for that reason I'm out" situation

Thank you. If Lemieux goes shoulder to shoulder with Roussel this isn't a topic of discussion. Lemieux saw Roussel falling, decides he was gonn hit him anyway. Seeing the Replay, the refs called it incorrectly. Should have been a minor. But none the less it's still a penalty.

Referees are (frank)tards no doubt, but if it had be only a 2min minor for roughing it would not really have been a topic of discussion.
