"Over the last 10 games, the Devils have been one of the best shot and chance suppression teams in the league. There's no better example of why than last night."

^ how many games have we been without Lovejoy (include the ones he sat just prior to deadline)?

at this stage, there is no point in winning

i'm still watching the games since the young talent makes it more interesting

season's over

Carrick is infinitely better too. excited to have this kid. could spot on the 2nd pair but be a good 3rd pair guy..and hes just 24.

Seems the AHL forwards are better at NHL defence than the injured... of course, when they're tryharding for a spot on the roster next year, it makes sense.

It's also too bad they don't have enough NHL offensive talent.

So it is our defence that has gotten better, not our goaltenders.

Crazy what happens when you have players who actually work hard and play with emotion imagine if our opening night roster played like that this season. Let’s hope we have a successful offseason bring in some new faces and have a successful draft

I think its safe to say Severson is playing where he will for his career which is good news. I think he finally figured it out.

A GM like Chiarelli is exactly what the Oilers needed.

Really like the kid so far but if we are going to have a quality D, Carrick is a third pairing guy. Nice puck movement, good shot and a little grit but defensively only serviceable. Still to get him AND a decent pick for lovejoy is swell!

Out of those two i'd take Dach. But i'd prefer one of Zegras, Cozens, Podkolzin, and maybe Boldy over either of them

Byram. Dach has skating/speed issues.
