CBJ with a tough stretch of games coming up! NJ is an easy win but they better hope for a split with Pittsburgh on the home and home. Next two games against the islanders and bruins. Id say they realistically go 3-2 over the next five games. Imagine if they go 1-4 though...panic mode. This team has never dealt with expectations quite like this |

I'm just saying going against any team like "Easy 2 pts" is a great way to end up disappointed. 
I mean, on paper you're right. NJ and Edmonton are streaking in 2 different directions, so I'll give you that.
I do feel bad though, you guys are going all in getting Duchene, Dzingel and hanging onto Breadman and Bob. If you guys just miss the playoffs by 2 or 3 pts, it's like "Oh man, we lost a couple to the Oil* that should've been easy pts."
* Oilers used in the example since especially after TDL pickups I figured you'd torch us, though that could be applied to any bottom-feeder team that points should be taken from. |
