F that. This is disappointing. Everyone I took the liberties of improving their team with the exceptions of us and Tampa. And Tampa is too good for this league. We had obvious needs and did nothing.

If its not major upgrade im fine staying pat. if it ain broke dont try to fix it.

Sabres fan here, but I agree with this. NYI are ahead of the plan from last off season, you have the coach, system, players and picks. Limited (no) chance at the Cup this year but cant force the change with bad moves.
Toronto didn't do anything either, Capitals got nothing either.

I like that Lou did nothing, there wasnt much available, the market was flooded with average UFA's aside from Stone but most likely didnt want to commit to the Isles long term. We have a good group, lets focus on the playoffs.

I spend a lot of money on my season tix and go to tons of road games. I have a right to be frustrated...what team do you root for?

my only gripe is that the isls have 4 ufa's at the end of the year. none signed before the trade deadline. all 4 could walk at the end of the year just like that little female dog and we get nothing back. is this the new norm?
