Will hate to see Simmer go. If the return isn't awesome, I really don't see the point.

I actually think Gudas could be an attractive piece to teams for the playoffs. Seems like a lot of playoff bound teams are looking for that RH defenseman.

Since it's a non-rental situation and the Flyers still need Gudas, I doubt he gets moved unless some time severely overpays.

I feel so conflicted today. My head says trade everyone. My heart doesnt want it to happen. But we just need space for our young guys to grow. We need to move some defenseman so both Myers and Morin get a shot. And hopefully we get assets for ppl that wont be here next year.

Hey Bill. If Gudas doesn't get moved what is going to happen on the defense with Myers playing well, and Morin about to come off his conditioning stint at LV?

Bill have you ever touched the cup? (that sounds weird)

Also, I saw that Lindros was in town. He had a picture of him and his son at the Please Touch Museum. His son was wearing a Carter Hart jersey! The kids got good taste. Maybe a future Lindros goalie in the making.

Totally agree. Not saying he should be but seems lots of teams are wanting that RH defesman who plays physical.

Bill,

In your mind what would you need to move Gudas?

I've seen a few San Jose games lately. My son (who's 7 likes their jersey's) so he like their team. To me Jones seems a bit leaky lately. Agree, disagree?

Let me just say I was in section 101, row 29 for the game saturday.

It was one of the best experience. To be part of that whole thing was just amazing.

More importantly did you stay till the end. I wasn't there but I was tempted to switch the channel as the game ticked down to under 5 to go. I just felt though, once they made it 3-2 I had this feeling even with under a minute left that they were going to tie it and win it.

I would love to get in on Stone. Move Voracek at the draft to replace pieces lost.

Generally speaking, I'd want a young NHL-ready player with some upside -- flexible as to whether that's a forward or a D -- and a first-round pick in either 2019 or 2020. Yes, that it an extremely high ask for Radko Gudas, and his value as a rental piece a year from now would be way lower. But he's been having the best season of his career and he brings things most every team can use.
