To give away a 1st round pick and one of the fastest skaters for a mediocre player from the Ducks is irresponsible Botterill, you can do better than this. I’m not worried about how many Dmen we have now. That’ll work itself out soon. Bogo and/or Scanner getting shipped out would be wonderful.

I’m kinda high on Monty, clear upgrade on the right side and brings offense on a reasonable contract with RFA at the end of it.

He easily becomes our 3rd best defenseman. We have a crap load of 5-6 defensemen. That’s the only abundance in D we have.

Anaheim is sniffing glue, very unlikely that pick is anywhere close to Montour. This had to be a cap move.

Have you seen how deep the draft is? Pretty good chance Ducks get a pretty solid player with either of those picks. Guhle is a toss up.
