Wow. 2 goals that fast to completely kill the game. 3-0 now. Boy have they given up. Oops, check that, 4-0 now with the empty net goal. 1 minute from the 2nd shutout in a row. And the BOO birds are out in force....for the 14 people that were still at the game at the end. Ugly, just ugly.

Maybe Fenton should call Fletch in Philly...he likes to give away draft picks for nothing.

I suggest reading this statement Russo captures from Fenton before tonight......incoherence aside seems pretty clear Fenton doesn't have any good options or plans and is packing it in.

How long will this go one? We have a long time to wait until Oct to see a reboot. This season is a bust, and the core of the team is a bust. Zucker, Coyle, E.E. , D.D. , Stall, Brodin, Greenway... Trade them all, get what you can, and hope for the best this fall. PLEASE

Wow, this has to make you think. Wild win 3 in a row on the road before the All Star break. Then all of the sudden they lose 9 of 10. One has to think the break is just an aberration, however it makes you wonder.
Even with this slide, they still are in the playoffs! I would like to reference when Chicago made the Cup in 2010. Philly did not qualify for the playoffs until the last day of the regular season. If memory serves they won on a shoot-out to get in. That 8th seed made it to the Cup. Anything is possible.

Agreed, only problem with that take is, this squad doesn’t have the talent level to make any kind of winning explosion in the post season. While I would still like to see this club make the post season, nothing about their current roster makes one think they can actually make a run.

Coyle has been traded apparently.
More than likely he's going to play 100% better on his new team and make Fenton look silly again.
I'm partially on board with a blowup/rebuild, but on the same token, it feels like we're selling peices at the absolute lowest value.
The bigger problem is: why are these guys not playing hard? Is there some culture problem?
Time will tell I guess.
