But have any of those mentioned been better than Rittich ?

Look at his numbers

I’m not seeing this huge upgrade and wouldn’t want to give up much unless it’s worth it

- Redmile247

Don't listen to him, Rittich has been just as good as any of Markstrom, Howard or Bobrovsky. He's just not a proven commodity like Howard or Bobrovsky, neither is Markstrom though.

All that said, Flames could use a legit proven starter, but really, who cares

Why would he want to come to Vancouver?

Ricky had been playing well but I'd want a 1b as insurance if I was hoping to make it all the way to the cup rather then relying on a kid and a bum.
That's worth at least a 2nd don't you think?

Unless you don't think your team is good enough to compete in the west?

They have done good against the top 2 from the central .... I think the sharks would be the toughest test in the west right now ....and I wouldn’t doubt they do something at the deadline too

I don’t mind insurance but I’m not anymore confident with the goalies you mentioned in the playoffs ...I’d rather a Craig Anderson or someone whose done it before in the post season if I’m giving up assets

Lets be clear, I hate the Flames with a passion, however, those old-school red sweaters from the 80's are WAAAAAAY nicer than the poop they wear today as their regulars.

I would gladly take that #19 sweater from you and then sell it on eBay for $200 dollars

I’d love to have him as one of my two but next year at 6 mill might be a bit much

Now if they want to take Neal then I’m listening lol ....not likely tho

I do like the vintage jerseys

Weren’t the canucks going to do a new look uni this year or next ?[url]

I really don't get it, the guy has been more invisible than Loui Eriksson, I'd rather call-up another Comets player and see if they can at least provide something. Canucks have nothing to lose by waiving him. Schaller provides nothing.

You and me have as many NHL goals as Schaller this year, Gaunce has oust-scored him despite playing in 3 games

The new blog is up, with thoughts on the Western Conference playoff race and trade deadline chemistry challenges as well as the usual lineup and injury updates.

Overrated IMO. Everyone said the same about the Sedins but we are 5 spots ahead and fine just like we would be without Tanev EDler. Clinging to the past is not the mentality this team should be taking.
