We get the back up tonight. That’s a good sign. Match ups will be interesting. I think I would go Sean Couturier vs Nikita Kucherov and Claude Giroux vs Steven Stamkos. Depends on how comfortable Gordon is with Patrick taking on Stamkos. Tampa played last night on the road, so we have to make life hard on them.

I would not take any player in that Tampa lineup out for Simmonds.

i LOVE Point but Tampa will probably be able to move enough salary out to afford him. Girardi, Coburn, Stralman all gone. Buyout Callahan and maybe one other move and they should be fine. they have Cernak and Foote ready to step in to bigger roles plus Raddysh could replace a guy like Miller or Johnson imo.

Killorn is another guy that they could potentially find a suitor for but might have to include a sweetener of some kind.

Next year they may not be the juggernaut that they are this year with those kinds of moves but that is still a really good core/team.

Kucherov is an assists machine. He has so many finishers on that team they could win multiple AVN awards.

I really like Point, for all the reasons repeated ad nauseum.

That said, before anyone starts yelling for offer sheets... he plays on a line with Kucherov and a PP with Stammer and Kuch.
