Trade them both if you can. I'm trusting Jarmo and JD to get it done. |

Trade both Bob & Bread. Do not flip those assets for another deadline deal. Go after UFA's in the summer with all the money you save. |

According to today's standings, CBJ has 69 points and is tied with Pittsburgh and Montreal for the WC spot, with Carolina 1 point behind and out of a playoff position right now. The playoffs are definitely not assured at this point.
Worst case scenario: keep Bob and Panarin for the playoff run. Miss the playoffs. Lose them for nothing at the deadline.
I think CBJ needs to take the best deal they can get and aim for a stronger future.
It might be different if they were comfortably 5+ points into a playoff position at this point, but they're in the middle of a logjam on the bubble. |

I disagree . . . partly . . . trade them both, we should get at least one 1st, a 2nd, top prospect (or 2) maybe NHL-ready; and a couple of mid-round picks. Use some of the assets to make a run at Stone/Duchene, most likely Duchene, signed to extension.
Then this summer see what's available on the UFA list. However, Cbus has difficulty attracting prime UFAs.
More likely Jarmo will wait to see what the carnage is with teams and UFA/RFA vs. The Cap. Make trades/offers with teams up against it. |

Safe to assume that trading Bob and Bread will depend on how they play in the next 3 games, right now what they have going for them are the games at hand, but they still gotta win said games. |

Yeah, Jackets have one game on the other 3, but slipping up even a little is gonna be devastating for somebody.
Montreal, Pittsburgh, Columbus and Carolina. One of those four isn't going to make it. |

Yep.
Right now I'd argue that the Jackets are in the best position to actually make the playoffs standings wise, but roster wise are by far the most volatile.
Ultimately I think Montreal misses. |
