Larry Brooks @NYP_Brooksie
Told no recent talks have taken place between Rangers and Kevin Hayes' camp. Ergo, trade is anticipated; 2. Have to figure it won't be too much longer before NYR pull Hayes, Zuccarello from lineup to protect against injury.

Yeah I know. But taking Neal is exachange for Vlad doesn't help them that much. Gives them like extra 1.75 million cap space. |

Rangers arent trading for James Neal, it's a million miles out of the realm of possibility
they wanna have money available this summer |

Why would you take on $5.75 million for each of the next four seasons after this year ends even for a first rounder ? |

Makes them worse this year, drives the pick higher. Like Jimbo said, I know they wouldn't trade for Neal, because they want money for this summer. I just don't think they are going to sign the like of Panarin, Stone or Karlsson. |

But handcuffs us salary wise for a few more years when we should be adding pieces. |

Rising cap would negate some of that. Plus getting Staal, Smith and Shattenkrik off the books in two years. I'd take back the bad contract for 2 quality assets in Andersson and the 1st. |

Tom's goal is to see them tanking through the mid 2040's, in hoping that they will finally benefit in having multi mid 2040's #1 or #2 overall draft picks in the sons of both Hughes and Kakko, to give them a shot at winning a Cup by 2048, in being 54 years after 1994. |

In not getting up off the ice for sometime, I hope that injury suffered last night by Rangers prospect, K'Andre Miller is not as serious as what I suspect it could be by the looks of his hard fall into the boards in the video.
My suspicion is that it could be as bad as one to multi torn ligaments in his knee, including either one or any in combo, of his ACL, PCL, MCL, or Meniscus. The best news to hope for is that he only sprained one or more of the above ligaments, without any tears at all.
If any multi ligaments are torn which would require surgery, including in key his ACL for one, he would be sidelined for likely at least 8 months in being completely off the ice. It could also then limit the kid's future success with his game. - RangerSaver

Let's go Jets! - tomburton99
Hank's going to try to make one more regulation time save this time, after losing 4-3 in a shootout loss to them in their previous match up at MSG, when the Jets out shot the Rangers 42-19. The Rangers blew a 3-0 lead to start the 3rd Period, when Smith took a stupid unnecessary penalty leading to the 1st of 2 fast Jets goals, prior to the Jets solving Hank & tying the game in the final 2 or 3 minutes, to send it to OT.

Hadfield night, was there. You could see it coming. New York was outplayed even when up 3-0. |
