Just checked you tube. Gus had control of the puck exiting the zone, got stood up at the blue line and lost the puck. Blues get control take it down low and Brouwer all alone in front takes a couple of whacks and scores.

Just had this idea. Might be unfair to even suggest as we could do this ourselves. Agree i still think if hawks gave hayden more minutes he be a more effective player imo i like hayden i said it before i think he devolp into a 3rd line power forward 15 goals 35 points 100 penalty minutes and player hawks need and are lacking.

their top 4 on d is top notch. after their top line, their forward group is a total meh.

and i don't think their prospect pool is all that deep anymore. unless i am missing some guys not under contract. tolvanen and fabbro? and fabbro still hasn't signed yet.

i haven't look too closely but i think they would have to move some players off their roster to acquire either stone or duchene, let alone both.

I will go out on the opposite limb and say they will have a clunker of a game soon and this one at Boston will be it. 4-1 Boston and not really close. Not a problem because they will burn the tape and beat Jersey handily on Thursday.

I'm usually against guys signing before their contracts are up, but I could make an exception for those two. I might need to tap the brakes, but tonight I fully endorse the suggestion.

It’s a challenging spot for sure, but signing Toews and Kane earlier worked out well. They would have hit free agency with 3 Cups. Granted, they would have been UFAs and that make things a bit different.

Waiting until their contracts expire could cost the club a couple to a few million in cap space if they continue to play like this. ADB is a no-brainer, I say sign him as soon as possible. Strome is the risk, but keep in mind that everywhere he’s played except Arizona he was a success.

Also, part of what maybe the team’s from 09/10 to 14/15 so successful was the comradery and unique bond the players had. The bond ADB and Strome have could be the start of rebuilding that. It’s not a certainty, just a possibility.

I know about them, but don't remember using it. I know dialup.

A lot of my friends talk in text and have said kk. I like some abbreviations, as a teacher candidate, I've learned some useful ones, but some are just so dumb. Kk is one of them ... too close to something else.
