For how overall bad he's been, I think he has a decent amount of potential if he settles in and is deployed on his natural side. We have done him zero favors with his deployment.

Gets decent ice time. There are a few AHL vets chewing up mins and Hronek gets most pp time even though he has no business playing in that league (21 points in 25 games).

I wouldn't give up so much but I would do a trade based around JJ for Keith. He is still a better player and has a lower value if you bury him in the minors, not to mention he could retire early.

Not to mention he could turn a page and get closer to his old self.

WBS as a team has a poor (in relation to the league) shooting % but a very high shot volume. Just found this out with the site haha.

He’s not worried that he’s going to miss too much more time due to an upper-body injury. He participated in a full team practice Friday, albeit in a red, non-contact jersey, and said his condition is slowly improving. He said he might be back as soon as Monday’s game in Philadelphia, though that’s probably a little optimistic.
