As someone who regularly criticizes the Pens for their effort/urgency I don't think that's been an issue tonight at all. It's been a game of mistakes and Tampa is taking advantage.

Yeah, I don’t think I was clear in my post. Right there with you in that the urgency level has been there. That’s my issue though. you have that sense the other night and you don’t lose four zip to Carolina. I know you can’t gef up 100 percent every night. But when you pile up the losses against the Devils, senators, Kings, hawks, etc... it’s discouraging to say the least

He needs to play his game and go right to the bench. Play hard between whistles and go to the (frank)ibg bench. Then maybe guys will come after you. Dude looks like a joke doing that poop and then being thrown around like a rag doll.

I actually don't think so. He gets mauled a lot and cross-checked constantly...I don't care if he yaps or skates close to the goalie...he doesn't run goalies or illegally hit players up and down the ice...but he sure gets fed a lot of wood.

I can see the refs not wanting to call because he female doges a lot...but I never subscribed to that...players wouldn't female dog as much if the refs did their job better. Call the poop all the time regardless of who is receiving the dirt.

That is prejudice though and I've never believed an honest official should take things personally...suck it up buttercup. It's an emotional game and respect is a two way street. At the end of the day....a penalty is a penalty no matter what kinda yapping is going on...anything otherwise is favouritism and belongs somewhere else.
