Does he have any brothers we need to worry about him leaving to play with?

Holy F, you guys are right. McCann does look like he could be G's cousin.

On my way home to catch the third period. How have the new guys look?

So hey I know it’s Ottawa but all the lines look pretty good. I’m kinda excited when they play together more. They seem to have some chemistry so far. After seeing some of GMJR’s comments. I wonder if he is making some weird plan to go after a big name. He likes the McCann kid but says Buksgsgsjdvdh is looking like a winger. So who is going to play the c on the Kessel line? I get we don’t have cap but don’t we have the IR relief? Or would we be shipping someone out? I think the safe bet is hang tight.

Honestly I think the Old Man is doing a good bit of wishful thinking when it comes to McCann. Ultimately Sullivan will make the on ice decisions and I think Bjugstad is gonna be the one to stick at 3C with McCann playing wing.

I’m digging Bjugstad. Good American guy, besides.

I’m still in the 2nd but this lineup is solid, no doubt about it. Trade Malkin to Dallas for futures. We can win without him. He probably broke his soft hands fighting Stammer. Make DeSmith the starter. Bring back Cullen for another year to extend our cup window. GMJR just giving us anxiety and making it look easy

I mean, it's not even one game with a new team he hasn't practiced with. I'm not trying to give him the JJ slack, but I'd like to see a few games with the Pens before really sealing his fate.

Ok. Don’t break up the Rust-Bjugstad-Kessel line.

Great. Now we have to find a winger for Geno?

Oh I’m by no means anti-McCann. I think he’s a great buy low candidate that could really pan out. I just think right now Bjugstad is far superior player. Granted, I’m much more familiar with Bjugstad than McCann but I find it hard to believe McCann can push Bjugstad for the 3C role this season.

Hard to argue based on this game. Mind you, I've only seen the 3rd, but Bjugstad has stood out.

Pearson-Malkin-Hornqvist was pretty darn good for a few games before they stuck Pearson with Suttard to try and get him going.

I still wouldn't rule out Ferland. JR won't be able to control himself. He lives to wheel and deal.

Per the Yohe article, Rutherford’s pretty much done. Another move isn’t completely off the table, but if it happens it will be on deadline day itself if someone really slips through the cracks. Rutherford really wants to keep our first this year, and after today’s trade I’m all for it.
