My guess is that Bitetto will be sent down to Iowa when Fehr is reinstated on the roster. Both Kunin and JEE will continue to play in Iowa as well, as Fenton tries to "show off" his tradable assets, looking to get draft picks and younger players.

As much as I like Staal, I really think his days with the Wild (for this season) are numbered. Hopefully, Fenton can bring Staal into the trade discussions, finding out where he would like to go for a real chance at the Cup. Then they agreed that Staal will give the Wild every chance to resign him next year.

Basically, I think Fenton is parading out Brodin, Coyle, Granlund, Spurgeon, Zucker, Brown, Hendricks and possibly JEE on the trade carpet and saying "what will ya give me for this one?" and trying to find the best possible deals.
BINGO!

So are the Wild calling it a year? They're in a weird spot.

They might as well call it a year and accumulate younger pieces anyway they can. The secondary "scorers" on this team have already proven over the years they aren't capable of making an impact come playoff time.

I think Fenton is hedging a bit, positioning to be sellers but wants to see how they do after the break before the plunge.

That's the way I am looking at it as well. Fenton parading these guys around to see what he can get for them. Just not moving on the trades yet though.

I guess so. Still don't understand the Rask thing. Should have been able to get more.

struggling player for somewhat struggling player. Fenton hoping rask rebounds, and gets a youngish center back for a team with not a lot of depth up the middle. Hopefully it works out for both players. I always liked nino
