So many questions

JvR(?)-Giroux-Konecny
Lindblom(?)-Couturier-Voracek
Laughton-Patrick(?)-(?)
(?)-(?)-(?)

NAK(?)
Vorobyov(?)
Frost(?)

Provorov(?)-Sanheim(?)
MacDonald-Ghost(?)
Hagg-Gudas
Morin(?)
Myers(?)

Hart(?)
(?)
Stolarz
Lyon

Weise(?)

UFA
Simmonds(?), Lehtera, Raffl, Varone, Folin, Elliott, Neuvirth

QUESTION
- JvR: Can he only play with Giroux
- Lindblom: How will he continue to develop
- Patrick: Will he be able to be consistent through a whole season
- Top 9: Will the Flyers improve the top 9
- 4th line: Utilize their system or sign/trade vets
- Frost: Will he be ready for the NHL, low expectations
- Simmonds: Will he be re-signed
- Weise: What happens with him

- Provorov: Will a new contract fix him
- Ghost: 1.5 seasons of great and 1.5 seasons of struggles, Is it him or the team
- Sanheim: How will he continue to develop
- Morin: How will he continue to develop, recover from injury, low expectations
- Myers: How will he continue to develop, can he play in the NHL, low expectations

- Hart: Can he handle the work load, how will the team react if he struggles
- Backup: Which direction will they go with a backup

- Glak18

I truly believe that G will flourish with an offensive minded center. Duchene as UFA or Frost... maybe too soon for Frost. Patrick has shown flashes but not sure I trust him with G.

The soundtracks to all 3 original films are fantastic. I also love the soundtracks of the first 2 Godfather films, Kill Bill 1 and 2 and the opening sequence of 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Phantoms playing like the Flyers. Hart with 20 saves just in the first period. No rust.

He's mostly made it look easy. Had to make a great save early in the game. Phantoms could barely get the puck out of their zone.

I know the Phantoms have some injuries, but they need to pick it up. Getting outshot 20-5 is just ridiculous

Dr Midnight is the only one to get it right. Anyone else who didn't have Braveheart in their top ten, shame on you. Just an incredible film.

Good Will Hunting was good and Goodfella’s should have made my list....casino was another great mob movie.

I was struggling with the last 3 trying to think of movies. The bat scene in casino is so brutal.

So no one wants Doughty? Is that the vibe?

I think he would be a BUY stock for the right price.

Saw the philly orchestra do 2001 in the big hall at the kimmel center with the pipe organ involved. Good show, some Eastern European dude did Rachmaninov 2d concerto on piano to open.

Got to see the Philadelphia Orchestra do the score to the Lord of the Rings live at the Mann Center during the summer about 10 years ago.

It was supposed to be Howard Shore conducting but he was sick.

Even with that was a night I still remember.

Yup, the Kings have some real issues on their hands and I could theoretically see him being moved if they decide to retool/rebuild.

The question is the cost and would it make sense for us. My guess is something like one of Ghost or Sanhiem, one of Frost, Farabee or O'Brien, and a 1st. That's a lot to give up for sure, but I won't deny Doughty would be a massive addition to this team.

That would’ve been a good one for Longwood Garden. The Mann has magic though, something special always seemed to happen when seeing shows there.

Was def too big for Longwood but that setting would have been great if they themed it.

Giroux is criminally underrated by much of the fanbase and much of the hockey media as well. He's incredibly talented and durable, excels in all situations and can play any forward position. When it's all said and done (and I agree with Bill, I think he's a career Flyer), I believe he'll finish with somewhere around 350 goals and over 1100 points.

As to where he'll rank among the all time Flyers greats, that is TBD. Clarke is safe at #1, as Giroux will never equal his 3 Hart trophies, nor his overall numbers. However, if Giroux captains this team to a Cup before he retires, he likely finishes his career as the #2 Flyer of all time. It will also all but assure that he gets in the Hall of Fame and that his number is retired. That's one hell of a career.

- BiggE

No brainer. He’s done it all as a Flyer. He’s seen the high’s and the low’s of this franchise. He just needs a cup.
