It took 2.5 years for him to finally have Matthews and Marner play a full game together at EV.

Kadri with a hattie is nice but the bigger surprise is Willie's game. Way less lethargic out there.

I didnt like the way Matthews played though, especially in the defensive zone. He looked completely lost a couple of times, and Caps had players completely free just north of the circles.

He should just put AA on speed dial and ill help him figure this out.

Meh, they have 29 wins with different lines.
They took advantage of team on a losing streak with hurting goaltending the past couple of games.

A much better effort tonight. Now most can go on a holiday and forget what it took to win that game. The Caps are truly slumping.....was that 6 or 7 in a row? Still, it was good to see the Leafs get their puck-luck again. Still, only 1 powerplay and gave up 44 shots. There is work to do, in their own end. Zaitzev was pretty soft on the first goal. Still, a win is a win is a win. 1 of 82.
