Thanks Breadman.

Yes, it will be interesting to see what happens in net these next few years. Goalies are so hard to predict.

I will say PIT just signed Casey DeSmith to a 3 year / 1.25M deal and his path is very similar to Colin Delia's: undrafted, played University hockey, ended up in the ECHL at one point and then worked his way up to AHL, and then ultimately NHL.

I honestly just saw that, and was about to ask if that was a good comparable. Haha. This TC guy is a lot quicker to the draw than JL, haha.

I was thinking a 2-3 year deal in the 1-1.5M range would make sense for Delia and the Hawks for the short term to see what they have in him.

I'm sure Crawford has been doing a lot of thinking lately about his future. Lots of conversations to be had with medical professionals + his family and friends.
- Justin Lowe

I'd be very surprised at this point if he comes back considering how hard of a time he had coming back from last years concussion and now having a second one. I wonder IF he does decide to call it a career, would Crow, feeling secure in the money he made, decide to just retire to help the Hawks and clear his 6M cap for the team to be able to help them compete faster or would he want his money and force the Hawks to either LTIR him for next year (or be traded elsewhere and placed on LTIR) and then retire at the end of his contract

I just think this is the best chance to move Keith if their is a opportunity to do so.

This team in the long run will be better off without him.

- Taylorst1

Yeah, I know. We'll have to wait until the tdl to see how this unfolds.

TB is happy to get rid of him. Let's hope this is another win trade.

It's basically like the Manning trade...The fact that we were able to unload both of them is a win in itself. Stan is a magician! At this rate, that predicted lineup for next season from barstool is basically a guarantee !

Forget about the players and just think of it as Tampa traded us their 5th round pick for our 7th round pick.

Stan at it again.

I like this move a lot. I've always liked Slater Koekkoek and thought he never really got a good look in Tampa Bay.

He's a former 1st rounder as well (10th overall).

Let's see if a change of scenery helps Slater out... just like it appears to have with Strome.

Hahahaha, well Magic Man isn't done and his July 1st will have to kick ass ... last year's leaves a lot to be desired. I still say that top 6, awesome, but 1 giant cap-handcuff.

I said earlier I liked him, just the timing of him injured made me pause. I do like the upgrade in the draft pick, minor.

YOU LIED TO US!!! WHO IS THE TYLER CAMERON?!?! I DON'T KNOW WHO TO TRUST ANYMORE ON THIS WELL REPUTED SITE

Is he going to be able to come back this year? I though when he first got hurt it was more than likely he was going to be out the rest of the year, but I feel like this is at least the second time someone has brought him up where it felt like they meant he could be back before the end of the year

- Savetheembers33

Sorry. I knew I would tell you all when you were older.

RE: Highmore. I believe he should be back in the spring. I like his game and would love to see him up in the NHL again at the end of the year.

Scouting reports of him in Tampa haven't looked good. What about his game do you think can translate to the Hawks to make him successful?

Ohh nice yeah I'd love to see him get another shot as the 4C before the end of the year to see if he could possible stick there. If he plays well and AA gets dealt I could very well see Toews-Strome-Kampf-Highmore as our Center depth next year which I wouldn't complain with while we see if they can be legit next year or not (then possible go out at the TDL and get a solid 3C and bump Kampf down)

Clark Kent to Superman was more of a head scratcher for people not knowing. I get being fooled by Padame, Natalie Portman is really pretty.

The move seems to favor Stan, is this move though to foreshadow a defenseman getting traded ?

What The 2019-20 Blackhawks Could Look Like.

https://www.barstoolsport...kxBPioX8-CRWT2sXQaRT4aafI

"Look at that lineup and try not to get hard."

Add Jack Hughes to the mix as well

And still have $5M in cap to play with.

- SoftServe

I don't see Panarin here, at all, but that's just me.

Stone would be great. So would Duchene or even Jordan Eberle.

You HAVE to add to that defence though. You can't plug in Mitchell, Boqvist and Joki and think that you're a playoff team. Take your time with those guys and trade/sign a solid top 4 D.

Also, need a goalie (probably better than Scott Darling). I'm not ready to call Delia the goalie of the future just yet. I really like him but I need to see him do this for the rest of the season.

Nothing we just got an upgrade in draft pick from 7th round to 5th. He’ll probably be put on waivers.

"TC" - I like it - that was the name of the helicopter pilot in Magnum PI (I'm old)!
- matt_ahrens

Don't need to be old; it's also the name of the pilot in the remake airing this year.

Koekkoek is a former 10th overall pick... Stan has traded for 3 first round picks for sweet f*ck all in less than month

How about that big RW kid in Edmonton next for Kruger? πŸ˜‚

I can't understand why he wants to trade drake ? I like that kids game and energy and his cap friendly deal.

The trade today is such a minor move. Minor upgrade of a draft pick and picked up basically another Rundblad. I don't hate it, but not much to get excited about.
