I m not as high on kauhn can do better maybe another one year contract he reminds me little hino. Here is a question Panarin or Stone who would you sign? - Scott1977
Kahun is signed next year @ 925k guys.
He could be a great value play at that amount after getting a year of NHL experience under his belt. |

I have my doubts about Sikura. I hope he makes it but right now, he's got a ways to go. |

I hear ya. So realistically the bottom 6 would still have some question marks even if they were to sign/trade for Dzingel and sign one of Stone or Panarin.

I would think Highmore gets a chance to stick. He seems like a good bottom 6er, Johnson as well. |

Too soon to have much of an opinion. Though he does seem to be a high motor/high energy guy, which is more than I’ve seen from Perlini so far. |

I can see him staying. There was an article that said he really wants to prove his worth in Chicago. I didn't read it, but it gave me a little bit of hope. |

Yep but i think him in the bottom six hawks would make the hawks deeper provided that hawks sign or trade for a top 6 forward rw preferably. |

Same. And I agree with Ogi about him being a motor/high energy guy. That could be nice as a bottom pairing. |

Those two forward lineup options are a few I have imagined if a top 6 winger like Stone or Panarin and 3C like Dzingel, Coyle, or Nelson are signed this summer.
Agree with others that question marks are in the bottom 6, notably the wingers. I know others have varying opinions but I think Kahun and Sikura stay with Caggiula and Perlini as maybes depending on how they play out this season. Any of those 4, really, could get upgraded if the right free agent or deal comes along.
Then there's Highmore like Breadman pointed out as well as Hayden, Martinsen, Fortin, and Johnson. I personally would stick with Highmore and possibly Hayden if he can play consistently within a defined 4th line role. |

What do you think it would cost the Hawks if they decide to go after Dzingel at the deadline?

Let’s see, HOF head coach Q plays 19 year old phenom on the 1st pair in his 1st NHL season, and pairs him with his HOF defenseman.
Jokiharju goes on to have the best underlying stats of any Hawk D man. Plus, he makes every partner that he plays with better.
Jokiharju then leads his home country to the gold medal of the World Juniors, logging the most minutes on his team.
Jokiharju comes back to the Hawks, brimming with confidence. Rookie HC sticks him on the 3rd pair, then decides to experiment with him playing his off side.
Would someone please explain to me what the F JC is doing, and why he is an NHL HC? - scottak
I agree. Very confused in how JC is handling 28. Seems coaches have favorites and for whatever reason 28 apparently is not on the JC nice list. |

I am confused as to why everyone is so worried about Joki's playing time. I thought this was a season when they were supposed to tank. I guess everyone will be happy when Chicago gets a pick between 10/20? Let the kid play as he is doing. |

He's an UFA after this season. Why give up an asset for him at the TDL with no guarantee of re-signing him? If the Hawks have interest in him just sign him during the off season.

I think Sikura could be deadly (moreso than Panik) much like Saad was if he was the 3rd guy of a stud line. He’s not a 3rd/4th liner, not his MO. His only shot imo (and would be cheap to re-sign) is top line with Toews and a big playmaker/scorer LW. Kahun however can bump down the 3RW and thrive. |

Please - tell us more about how you haven’t seen much from the throw-in guy in the change-of-scenery Strome/Schmaltz trade. |
