Wouldn't you need a 6'5 coach?

Tagecakes hasn't been this size for that long.

He's 20 , my guess is coaches work on his skating?

Probably spent some time on the toe drag wrist shot?
That is enjoyable.

Maybe he can befriend jbotts and never get traded?

Well played.

He should be sent down, and hopefully will when the team gets all its' players back...soon.
He needs to play against tough competition to get his female dog quotient up. Christ, Mitts was pushing back hard on Kestler the kther night...Tage reaches with his stick rather than seperating players from the puck using his 5 extra inches and about 20 punds.
I mean, someone needs to stand him and Skinner next to each other...wtf!

Biron and Ray both raved about how heā€™s been using his size to create turnovers and get shots on.

I think you just want him to hit people, which almost no one does anymore

He is like Allen in my mind, he is starting to do the little things right which will ultimately help his development in the long term.

He is very skinny. Im sure Botts and company are going to demand him to add weight to his frame and come back stronger next year. But the height, and hands are very good for a big man.

Hey guys we are 3rd in the Atlantic right now, Eichel is in the Hart convo, Skinner is 2nd in the league in goals, Even though the eye test leaves a lot to be desired Reinhart is almost at a PPG, and Dahlin is on pace to have the second best season by an 18 year old defensemen in NHL history. Hutton/Ullmark is the best goaltending duo in the NHL and in within the next few seasons I think we'll have the best defence corps in the Eastern Conference with Dahlin and Pilut only getting better.

Nothing else matters. Only thing on this board we should have to worry about is Skinner signing. The rest of the crap going on in this board today is useless arguing for the sake of arguing. Have a drink, enjoy time with your loved ones.

Merry Christmas !

There is some of that in me for sure...especially for a guy who is 6'5" and 220 lbs when good size in the NHL is 6'0"-6'1" and 200 lbs.
I don't need Skinner to hit, not once.
There is a big friggin' difference...6'5" and 220 and you want to play like bambi with poopty edge skating...NEXT!

He needs to create a T-Chart of his assets and development opportunities and the max the Assets develop skills to address thd Opporti ities
Asset - size, how can I use that to my advantage? Hmmmm?
Opportunity - skating, edge work....he needs training wheels to turn and to change directions...great in a straight line. Wonder what I should do to improve my skating in a league that is quickly placing a premium on skating.
Hopefully someone is developing him

I exaggerate how much I like him to aggravate a certain someone who likes to felate a former top 20 Center we have , but since his disaster of a start, heā€™s turned into a solid player.

I think heā€™s a future 2nd-3rd liner who will pot 15-20

With his shot he should be a 30 goal scorer, but I like your range of 15-20

He reminds me of Kotalik. Great hands, great shot, probably wonā€™t ever put it all together to be a great player.

Will be very good at times, disappear others.

not disagreeing with you

just trying to figure out the temperature in the pool

one day goals don't matter, points do

the next day only goals matter

you can spin numbers either way

does e-rod look lost at times, yup

just like a lot of other forwards not on the top line (pretty much all of them)

- homiedclown

Erod is the only forward not named Eichel or Skinner who has above average speed. Plays all 3 positions, and all three phases. No, he is not a perfect player, but he is asked to wear a lot of hats, and brings a dose of creativity to the bottom six that is effectively devoid of creativity and speed. These things are important. I would like to see the stats on individual zone exits, because it seems to me that he's one of maybe 3 forwards who can lug the puck out on his own because of his speed

Edit: keep the change you filthy animals

I'm going on record now.

Obviously I am not a fan at all of his game.
While he is young, I just don't think of him as a top six, nor a having a skillset for a 4th liner. So, to me he projects as a 3rd line player and believe the estimate of 15G's is fair...don't see him creating alot of opportunities for others..so I'll allocate another 15A's ...15-15-30.
Meh.
Like Nylander, I'd include him in a package to sweeten the pot for a proven, young player with some term left that can push for 2nd line minutes effectively.

Erod has speed that is it

He is lost with the puck on his stick

He is softer along the boards than people claim Reinhart is

He is not a good passer (neither is the rest of the team outside of the top line)

His speed and "ability" to play all 3 positions is the only reason he has a roster spot at this time.

And the PK, and draws penalties. He brings a lot to the team for very little money. His underlying stats are good. He should be on the 4th line on a healthy good team. He can get 20-25 points from there which is not something we can say about almost any other player on the team

My problem is he isnā€™t good enough for the top line, and not disciplined or good enough on D for a checking role. Heā€™s an in-betweener

The 3rd line should be the checking line, and the 4th is an energy line. He is perfect for that role imo

They all need to score points. Erod on pace for 20-23 currently. Larry 10-12

They all play PK
