Part of the reason why his workload is high is that Babcock does not appear to have a level of trust in Sparks as he did in veteran Curtis McElhinney.

How much trust did Babs actually have in Macelwhatisname though? I mean, he only played 18 games and 14 the year before. If that's how much he plays a backup he actually trusts, then Freddy is in for a busy season. |

Parayko will probably cost a Nylander. Thereās probably a team out their that trades a significant young piece for him over a package. And I hope itās not the Leafs. |

Appreciate the creativity but I doubt that package gets Provorov alone let
alone adding Simmons.
Also, trading for a goalie we lost on waivers? Doesn't seem like good asset management to me.

Iām not saying Sparks is better and Iām not saying Babcocks does have the same level of trust in sparks. But Cmac only started on back to backs when necessary. Sparks this year has played all the back to backs plus the game they rested Freddy before a few days off. So basically your claim is baseless and seems like a rather stupid statement. If he doesnāt appear to have the confidence it isnāt the lack of starts that shows that. So what shows it mike? |
