Yeah numb is about my situation with this team also. Until major changes occur they just won't be good enough. |

They could make Gritty interim coach at this point with Oscar the Grouch and the San Diego Chicken as his assistants. It really couldn’t get any worse.
(frank) you Hextall, and you Homer, and you Scott and the coaches and players too. (frank) them all. |

Nobody going to mention we rode stoly a kid who was playing well into another injury ? Guy just came back from major surgery and we gave him 0 games off. This is just as aggravating with hakstol as anything else. |

Dave Hakstol, never met a goalie he couldn’t ride to death. (frank) him, enjoy unemployment jackass. |

On the bright side, if Babcock is considering the timing is perfect, taking over something at rock bottom is always preferable, only way to go is up, it makes hero’s. |

Gotta figure playoff teams will play at least .500 hockey the rest the way. 4-5 games back now of a realistic playoff spot. Would need to go something like 25-15-5 the rest the way. Just dont see it. And we have so many games on the bottom we will end up in the perpetually average rank of a bubble team or just missed playoffs pick 10-15. |

You will, without a doubt, need a minimum of 91 points to even have a prayer of making the playoffs and more like 94 to have a good shot.
To get to 91, the Flyers need to go:
30-18-3
For 94:
31-16-4
Lottery pick. All together now, lottery pick. |

This is ridiculous. The team hasn't been getting NHL goaltending, the two goaltenders he was given to start the season are unavailable. Lyon hasn't played well this season. His job is on the line. Who is he supposed to play! That's not being reasonable at all. |

Playing a goalie freshly recovered from major surgery in 3 out of 4 nights of games is unreasonable and frankly shows you dont give a Frank about your players. Even when your job is on the line you protect the people who work for you first. You go down with the ship if you have to protecting them. That's called trust. It's what leaders have. We lost all these games anyway so if Lyon had played what would the difference have made ? He actually seemed okay last night for the most part. |
