In all fairness I don't get how Dumba didn't get suspended for that hit, Giordano gets suspended which wasn't intentional for the knee contact.

Well that’s where you and your Calgary homerism are wrong. Dumbas hit was legal as is was deemed by the DoS. Giordanos intent WAS to make contact with Koivu and he did so by extending his leg out INTENTIONALLY which initiated the knee on knee hit which the same DoS deems as an ILLEGAL hit and most times always follows with supplemental discipline.

It's really easy to understand why Dumba didn't get suspended and Giordano did if you look at the rules.

Dumba's hit broke the "code" but it didn't break any rules.

Lol, homerism.... Both were questionable, if ones suspension so is the other. Enjoy the L, suck it.

Thoroughly enjoyed all the fisticuffs. Especially seeing Suter get in on the action.

I agree Gio should have been suspended and Dumba's hit was somewhat clean. Does Dumba hit Backland the same way if Gio had not taken out Koivu? Not sure, but Backland should have had his head up in that situation.

Fun games against the Wild. Seems like there is no love between fan bases which only puts more at stake.

Seems like the Wild are just missing that one Marquee player to be the face and driving force of the franchise.

I don't know, Dumba has had a few of those hits this season where an opponent player has his head down or not expecting it. But there may be some credence to the fact that maybe he's taking the opp for a little pay back on the Koviu injury.\

Either way, it's hockey, poop happens and it's not always personal, just the rigors of the NHL.
