Simmonds & Gudas for Liljegren should be a thing.
Oh, yeah. Go Flyers. I guess. |

I hope they win.
Let’s start that fire counter from zero again.
288 is not enough time to properly evaluate. |

I watched last night, read the boards, simply didn't comment.
Nothing left to say, really, until firings and trade(s) are made
They're just not good enough. I don't know how in the hell the PP got broken, but now even that doesn't work
Only players who they need to keep are Giroux, Couturier and Provorov, IMO
I'd listen on every other player in the organization except Hart and maybe Frost, if it was a deal that could help the on-ice at the NHL level |

I would add Sanhiem, Patrick and Myers to that list but otherwise yeah, I'm not really married to anyone else if it's a move that makes sense to improve the team. |

When the plane returns maybe Hak gets a message that Gord Murphy is in trouble, then his ride comes:
Damn, I can't paste photos, but it was Sylvio driving Adriana. |

Tough to watch. A team in total free fall. The only thing that is keeping me watching is the thoughts that changes are coming.

Frost is totally in play if I get a return I like.
EDIT. I love G too, he can and should finish his career elsewhere. Maybe Toronto.....or Calgary?

That’s the thing....I’ve started to actually dislike a bunch of these guys. I could care less after Giroux and some of the kids, whom I want to see develop, who they keep. |

I can totally see Sanheim and Patrick being on some people's untouchables. I get it.
I just would listen on everyone and everything, right now -- what I worry about more than a little bit is that this team might have a few too many soft players
The league has changed, and I get that. There aren't any Chris Prongers anymore
But this team, collectively, just seems a little less willing to do hard things. I think they play hard more often than not, but they're not as willing to do the hard things that lead to winning in a league with that much parity

Completely disagree.... unless the return is a proven and still young NHL impact player. And what team is trading that? |

Fletcher has had some time to reach out to some candidates ...I actually don’t think it matters what this team does tonight. Hak is done.

Last night was one of the worst viewing experiences I can remember with this team
I'm sure there have been worse. I know there have been. But last night was right up there

Today's coaching points from our great coach.
Continued power play woes,
and a combination of failed clears,
turnovers and an opportunistic opponent.
This, straight outta Bill's recap of yesterday's fine display of men's professional hockey.
My guess, this too will be the lead for tonight's recap. |

Those are the kids you need..and develop ..along with their cheaper cap hits, to get this team to the next level.

There is no guarantee in that OHL/NHL jump.
I may be wrong, but can Toronto afford Tavares, Mathews, and Marner with a good enough team around them to win, if they don't do it this year?
I targeted Marner and he is who I have in mind. |

I understand -- I do. You can't throw out the baby with the bathwater, and those players likely just need more time. They're going to be fine, at some point |

I can’t remember in 40 plus years of watching that I have been so in different watching this team. Even when they finished last a decade or so ago....I could find reasons to be hopefull. Now my hope is based on substantial changes. |
