Ovechkin is playing amazing right now. That second goal was sweet, but I don't know how it wasn't interference leading up to it.

Given the state of officiating in the NHL I’m not losing sleep over it. Caps get missed calls all the time. Good one went our way.

Last night ovi tied Shanny in PP goals. He’s now 5 off Dave Andreychuck for career goals. His consistency is a mystery. He gets the shot off so fast, doesn’t have to even stand still. I look at young guys in the league with amazing shots and wonder, “can they do it 13 years in a row”? Most can’t. Watching this guy compete and still get excited to score is a huge privilege. I don’t think he gets near the respect he should.
