I like the lines for what they have to choose from

Lines

JVR g tk
Raffle Coots Jake
Laughton Patrick simmer

Hak loading up at center, better late than never

Gives raffle some prime time, maybe raise his trade value.

Same thing can be said for Laughton

Bill-

Great stat line, what a surprise

According to Natural Stat Trick, the Flyers are 4th in fewest high danger chances allowed and tied for second-fewest overall scoring chances allowed. Unfortunately, the Flyers goalies rank 28th in the NHL in save percentage across all scoring chances (although 11th in save percentage specific to high-danger chances).

Our goaltending sucks. Wow, what a surprise...said no one ever. Oh well, at least they should be solid up the middle tonight.

GO FLYERS!

Glad to see G staying at center for the time being. No harm in giving this a shot to see if keeping the middle strong can provide a much needed increase in point production throughout the lineup.

Calgary is another really good team. This could easily be an ugly game again.

We really had no choice but to move G back to center.

I hate that Hak is in love with AMac and Lehtera. I would love it if they both sat. I know that the options to replace them are not game-changing, but I just wish they were not in the game.

I also don't like 53 and 6 as a pairing. i love them both, but they are very similar. They both are instinctively offensive defensemen. I would rather they each be paired with a more stay-at-home type. I think that would balance things a bit better.

Ghost - Provorov (I know 9 isn't just a stay-at-home type, but he can succeed like that)
Sanheim - Gudas
Folin - Hagg

Just a thought...(or two...)

Okay, let’s say the Flyers keep G at center this season. Who is available at left wing to target in trade?

When MacDonald is playing at his best, he calms the defense down. He is a better player than Folin is.

This is true. Sadly, AMac has had about 3 good games all season.[url]

Did you have lunch with each of the defensemen to find this out or is this another one of your opinion that you treat as a fact.

and for the Flyers unfortunately, this is a big deal. Slap me for saying it but they needed a healthy AMAC

He's been extremely inconsistent for most of the season. Trying to come back too soon from his injury was a mistake.

I wonder how many 5 plus goal defeats Hak can survive?

Yeah. I'm not a big amac fan, but we need the guy from last year who really helped provy out imo.

I can't believe how many aspects of this team have gone sideways this year. Special teams, injuries in general and to tenders specifically.

What do we have to lose? Lose 10 1? If that's the case more likely to be a change coming which I welcome.

This game could be interesting. The Flames can play a physical in your face style. They have some of those agitating players. Curious to see how Flyers respond.

I’m fine with it. Give that pair a ton of O zone starts and match them up against Calgary’s 3rd and 4th lines as much as possible.

Hi Bill,

What is your opinion on the keep Giroux at center debate?
