The B's played very well with a depleted roster and 5 d Man. They didn't get the W but they were never truly out of that game. Had they 6D or Bergeron they may have forced OT.
Weird call by Cassidy to pull Halak before the 2 minutes marker. |

Bruins must have picked it up in the 2nd and 3rd period, based on this game review...
First period was all Leafs, I missed the final 2 periods. |

Entertaining game by both teams. |

Gotta disagree with your assessment, man. I was at that game, and the shot count was not indicative of who deserved to win. The Leafs had way more quality scoring chances - Kadri alone could have netted a hat trick in the first period
I get that the Bruins weren't icing a complete roster, but the Leafs definitely deserved last night's win. If anything, the score should have been more lopsided

Sure, if you just wanna ignore what the Bruins did. Kadri probably should have scored a few times, but he didnt, just like David Backes didnt despite 3 open looks from within 12 feet. In fact, David Backes is so bad that he didnt even hit the net on any of those. Bruins hit some posts, the Leafs shot the puck 3 feet wide but it went off John Moores ass in the net. It was a very tight game that easily could have went either way depending on the bounces of the puck. Hopefully both teams get to full strength soon. |

Meh. still not worried about the Leafs when playoff time comes, put Matthews and Nylander in the line-up, doesn't matter. Team has NO Defense. TB, Washington are 2 teams that I don't think the B's can beat, anyone else is totally beatable Including the Bruins. Caps/Bolts are the clear front runners.
I think I said yesterday, The B's NEED to move a Carlo and a young prospect to get a Top 6 guy that can Help This Team right now. Just Do it already Sweeney
Move any of the mix Bjork-JFK-Donato with Carlo |

So basically you're saying you didn't score because David Backes sucks? Yes, I agree. If you had better players, you would have won. Leafs are stacked up front, so they typically don't need many opportunities to score
Leafs won handily

Leafs won handily...while be outshot at home.. mmhmm
One series of events made the difference. Bruins scrum out in front of the leafs net. Cant finish and the Leafs go down the ice and get one.
Bruins probably win if they get a bounce there.
It will be fun when we bounce your "stakced" roster in the first round again. |

This is strong to quite strong. Both teams got solid goaltending. You guys won but go easy on that victory lap tonto. It's November and you played against a patchwork D-core that was down a guy early. |

Not so sure with the injuries that the bruìns will see a 1st round this year.... might be the sabres getting that first round matchup.
Bruins are very dangerous when Bergeron is healthy... not so much without. |

Reports are McAvoy and Carlo are very close to returning which will bolster the backend. Sweeney needs to make a roster change in my opinion. Time to send Bjork down and bring Donato back up. Bergeron will be back in a few week. Its still November, teams can go cold or get injured. Lot of Hockey left. |

Getting those 2 back will certainly help...
Why Donato isn't given every opportunity surprises me...
Tough to make up ground, and you certainly don't want the Bolts in the 1st round.

Donato needed the seasoning. Kid has the right attitude according to the beat writers and took it in stride.
Even if they did draw the Lightning in round 1, still experience for the younger guys. You never know upsets happen in the playoffs almost every year. |

Seeing how he finished last year, I thought for sure donato would be a lock for a top 9 role.. maybe by seasons end he will be.
Leafs and Bruins are destined for another 1st round I think.

SO what happens when Right side Carlo, trips over his own feet at the same time Left side Carlo trips over HIS own feet ???
This could really happen in the Clone World, I mean chances are good right ? |
