The leafs honestly have an embarrassment of riches at forward. When Matthew's returns and nylander signs what happens? Do you put kapanen down to the third line? Then what? Johnsson, Leivo, Ennis, lindholm, connor brown, gauthier. One of those gets sent to the AHL? Or two? There are guys there that would play in most teams too 6.

Getting scoring from not only depth players, but call ups, is a real treat.

Honestly he doesn;t... but he's been outplayed by Ennis and Leivo. Kap/Hyman and JT/Marner can take up the PK duties, with Johnsson in as needed.

Not sure about the other. Probably Ennis or Leivo, but I'd probably prefer if it was Brown tbh. I used to rather like the guy, but his offence seems to have died and the only other thing he might be useful for is the pk? Probably others that can handle that.
