Gustafsson takes a won draw right after the second goal and just throws a slop rat hockey pass into the middle of the ice right to the Capitals dman four feet ahead of Toews
Time he sits in the press box for a game |

Would you have traded the 8th (Bovquist) last draft for the 11th-12th (Wahlstrom and Dobson)? - Mr Ricochet
Look, all I’m saying is IN GENERAL there’s a better chance at finding franchise changing/all star level talent by drafting top 5ish as opposed to 6-15ish. The higher the better.

I wonder if there is a new episode of flip or flop on HGTV. |

Gotta love a professional call: Hawks didn't get a shot on the PP cuz they only had 29 seconds in the attack zone. ........Eddie and Foley, talk about cookies or a shout out? |

Many times the last few yrs I've switched to the Flinstones from the Hawk game, one of their 22 minute efforts of which their were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many.

Lol...so other than 2 perfect, recent examples of sucking leading to drafting franchise changing talent you want me to name more?
Matthews, Marner, and Reilly all top 5 picks have the Leafs organization back on track
Stamkos and Hedman were the cornerstones that helped get TB back on track
Seth Jones and Zach Werenski in Columbus
MacKinnon, Landeskog, and Rantenen have given the Avs a bright future
It goes on and on and on...
But if it makes you feel better bringing up the Oilers just because they didn’t manage their assets, then so be it.
Tanking works. Sucking works. It helps bring in franchise changing talents at a high% rate. There is no disputing this. - SimpleJack
Lol! I pointed to teams that won. You've found a lot of examples that are competitive but have won nothing. Kudos! Something tells me if the Hawks tank a ton, are really competitive, but keep coming up short in the hardware department, that may just not be good enough for you. |

In general I agree, Simp. Each draft is different as far as depth but yes in general you get a top 5 you're in business.

Read this kid get mocked at HB for yrs...... There is a reason he went 14th overall. A power forward is as hard to come by as a top pairing Dman. ....... A beast who can skate with top 3 types.

Off topic...but is anyone watching on WGN? And if so, is there like a lot of bad video flickering/bad streaming where the screen flickers? Pretty annoying. The NBC/Comcast channel does not have this issue |

Hawks(Toews and Kane) won 3 Cups
Pens(Crosby and Malkin) won 3 Cups
Kings(Doughty and Kopitar) won 2 Cups
Capitals(Ovi and Backstrom) took a while to build the proper supporting cast but eventually won a Cup
Lightning(Stamkos and Hedman) made it to one SCF and will be competing for more Cups in the years to come
Leafs(Matthews, Marner, and Reilly) will be competing for Cups in the years to come

I'm on WGN, the only thing bad is the visiting team, not the picture/video. |

That's because Holtby is a rebounder.
I'm sure the puck isn't in, but I hope Tor is seeing something different. Sadly, they didnt. |
