I always get nervous with the Pens. When they seem to gain steam, they seem to have a tendency to get overconfident and not show up.

This game will not be as easy as you think. The islanders have been a lot better defensively. I take those Corsi numbers with a grain of salt cause they don’t mean much. That being said pens win 6-3. But it will be a tough game for the pens regardless

PDO you say? What about HDSC that's what I say! When those babies are high it must mean something right? I mean it's not 'high' for nothing especially when the word 'danger' is included. Doesn't have the same tone as 'close' or 'near' the goal scoring chance. It's (frank)ing 'HIGH DANGER'. I don't see why they didn't just go with the 'red alert' or 'red zone' scoring chances.

They should have a siren that sounds like a shark alarm every time the puck is in the 'high danger' zone!

Anything can happen on any given night. In 82 games teams can go from world beaters to disasters for any amount of time. Isles have just as much chance as the Pens of winning this time of the season.

You guys have some really nice players that are coming through, & I love the expression that a champion team will always beat a team of champions. Vegas proved that you don't need high end talent to do something in the NHL. They had good players playing well together. So playing well as a team will see some good results.

Also yesterday's Corsi is just that, past tense. Means zero in the next game.
