Maybe the best thing that happened to this team was the Lightning, last 2 games they've played great, 2 things i really liked about tonight, the Hawks actually were more physical than I've ever seen them tonight, 3rd period with the lead played mostly in the Rangers end, very nice

And it's great to see Corey in net what difference compared to last year.

Totally agree. They kept Rangers in their zone, less shots on goal because of it, still dumb penalties. Still have their flaws, but the last 2 games they haven't been as noticeable. A much better team to watch and a much better team playing. That drumming was the best thing for them.

I still think the Stl game will go to ot. Why break the streak? Kane with his 3rd period magic and Adb empty netter. I heard Johnson passed on his first career nhl empty net goal? Someone besides hocktock can fill me in with the right facts, haha?

I'll add this...the Hawks put some jump into that 3rd line moving Fortin and Schmaltz there. Much better than having 3 slow guys on line 3.

Seems right now, calling up Fortin is looking like a good decision.

Is Entwistle a physical-type rugged winger or more like a big Daze-mold skilled player? I'm not familiar with him other than getting him in the trade.

That's because of Luke Johnson and John Hayden. They both played with intensity and purpose. Hopefully we can get to see Sikura and Highmore to replace Kunitz and Kruger and Forsling to replace Manning. Then we'll see what this team is about.

I just want Schmaltz to keep back checking and I don't give a damn if he let's up on some plays. He took a hit at center ice couple games ago Eddie O made a point. Pick and choose your battles. Everyone relax! Remember Kaner 08 09 was way worse.
