Bit of a slippery slope giving Rittich the start tonight. We all know how temperamental goalies are, and Smith is no exception. What happens if Rittich is great again tonight? Are they going to give Rittich two in a row every time he wins?

Smith also hasn't been nearly as bad as some people want to paint it. He's been pretty good, and I would have given him the start tonight and rewarded Rittich with a start against the Pens or Caps.

Agreed besides the first two games of the year Smith has been better then most have given him credit for. Good article on Reddit Calgary Flames thread about it.

But if Rittich playe good tonight put him in against the Pens and let Smith face the Caps. Ride who is hot. Rittich played lights out against the Rags.
