The season is LOOOONG.

This is a great start but 7 games is not even 10% of a season.

Karlsson has 4 points in 8 games.
Morgan Rielly and Thomas Chabot are on pace to score 80+ points
Both the Canucks + Habs would make the playoffs (not as wild cards)..

None of this will sustain. The offensive numbers ottawa is putting up won't continue. What I do expect to continue is the strong play from their younger players, but not the offensive output

All this is completely irrelevant if Melynk won't put $ into this team.
Chabot, White, Tkachuk.... when these guys need big $ in 2-3 years let's see if that A$$hole will pay up or ship them for futures that can play on ELCs

I was there at the Habs game Saturday. Passes looked sharp for the most part, and scoring chances were plentiful. I was pleasantly surprised with how the team played on the ice.

I wonder how much of the high scores we keep seeing are due to the new equipment rule (smaller goalie pads) that are now in effect?

The team should be sold before the rookies' ELC contracts are up...

I always come to the Ottawa area for Christmas and I always attend a game. I wasnt going to this year but ive changed my mind. I still want Melnyk gone but this team looks to exciting to not see them live.
