CBJ can ask for as much as they want but both guys are UFA's come summer.

Obviously ginger bread to New York makes sense and Vancouver should be eyeballing Bobs or a Schneider return. Bobs is better, imo, but Schneider's value is also at an all time low and he's historically been pretty damn good.

Really don't understand why the Rangers are in on a player they could sign in the off season. Unless they are willing to give up Kreider/Hayes/Zucc for Panarin then flip him at the deadline for more picks?

I agree. Panarin is no doubt a great talent but this trade doesn't make sense in the long run. Have to stick the course and be patient and continue to rebuild through the draft. Could we not just sign him in the offseason?
