That goal where Mitts got his stick in the way.... Hutton gave him the death stare. Probably a pretty easy save if he doesn't hit the stick there. Other than that i think it was his best game of the season.

On Pominville being on the first line yesterday.

At this point, Pominville is like a seasoned veteran backup quarterback. He can come in and play well for 2 or 3 games, and probably win them for you, but after that, he's going to be ineffective. I expect to see him up with Eichel a few times this season sporadically, but not permanently.

Your boys are looking pretty good thus far. Congratulations to the Buffalo fanbase. You’ve all suffered enough.

Hopefully someone will be able to prove they are "top line worthy" soon. But like you said he does fill in well.

Once Mittelstadt starts putting the points on the board, this team will be 5x more effective. He's the kind of player that will have to will the 2nd line into scoring more ES. Then opposing teams will have to focus on two lines. He's looking great, points withstanding.

Ive been banging the drum for our top 6 to look like this all season long:

Skinner-Eichel-Okposo
Sheary-Mitts-Reinhart.

I thought that Okposo would be able to do the dirty work along that line and just not screw up as it would be the Skinner and Eichel show anyways. Pominville has filled in on that top line well and I doubt he'll be moved off that line until they start to sputter. Mittelstadt's game is starting to get going and I like how Erod has gotten a chance to play higher up in the lineup.

Read Twitter. Mittelstadt is a bust because some people picked him for the Calder over Petterson, which made some twitter people upset.

So therefore, Mitts=Garbage

Erod is one of those players that is good and you don't have to pay him. Find more Erods. For the bottom of the lineup.

I assume facebook is worse. WGAS. Intelligent viewers can see his progress. He plays the game the right way, and he has the skill to score. It may not come today or tomorrow, but it's coming.

Offer him a 1.95x7 year contract. He can be a fill-in 2c in a pinch or contribute from the bottom 6. He needs work on the PK. If he figures that out, he will be a hugely valuable player. Plays all three positions with speed. I think he's highly underrated

After 5pts in 6 games last year, or whatever it was, I thought he'd come out hotter. Still, he has improved each game. Expected a bit more though is all. It will come as Taco says.

I loved when he drew the tripping penalty, Reinhart went up and said something to him and Mittelstadt playfully punched him. These guys are having fun

Two thumbs up to the Sabres. Two thumbs down to the Bills. A real Jekyll and Hyde weekend for Buffalo sports fans.

I think Mitts busts loose next game. He is playing well and just not being rewarded at this time.
