I'm not so confident in the D sans Schultz ever being top notch AAA grade , didn't with him either haha, but I do think some of the bottom 6 forwards and their lines will improve. The forwards will have to help out more defensively... Kinda like vs the Leafs.

My opponent is destroying me this week 480 to 420 which sucks since my score is still better than most in my division.

I forgot to set my lineup and somehow I’m up 500-420.

LOL wow.

I have a really good lineup and will still probably inch closer to 500 by the end of the day, but me and him have the same players today.

I honestly don't care about it at this point. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is when Sprong does eventually get moved and does well on another team, is the female doging that will go on here.

They need to just move on and replace him with someone they won't bench after one, two or even three bad shifts in a game. The Pens need to have a fourth line that they will play more than 6 minutes a game.

I personally don't even care about the return they get for Sprong. At this point it's painful and frustrating to watch. If they can get some kind of decent prospect or 3rd rounder, just pull the trigger.

It's super early in the season, but I'm growing frustrated with Sullivan.

If only we had a Jay Beagle like 3c to play against other teams top lines and a fourth line to play against other teams top pairing. But we have no fourth line at all and Brassard the invisible.

Promote ZAR, play him in Sprong's spot.

Brassard and Sheahan are a great 3C and 4C. Hornqvist is just invisible right now, Sprong isn't getting a real look, Cullen is not an NHLer anymore and Simon is good, but he's a complimentary player.

Jake-Sid-Horn
Hags-Geno-Kessel
Rust-Brass-???
???-Sheahan-???

Pens need to fill those holes with players that Sully will stick with. I would love to find a way for the Pens to nab Nyquist from DET without giving up too much.

ZAR is no upgrade at this point. Personally, I'd be more interested to see Haggerty at this point.

The difference between Rust and Kessel works out to one "flipped" Corsi event per game for both.

That's how minuscule the difference between 49% (which is analyzed as NOT driving play) and 53% (driving play) is.

I would love to see a Sprong/Ho-Sang swap. I know Ho-Sang has a higher pedigree, but he seems to have fallen in the same trap as Sprong. I think Ho-Sang's speed would be a great addition to the Pens.

If they are so great why can’t they play against Auston Mathews? You didn’t see Ovi playing against any top line because Beagle was eating those minutes.

After watching most of the Vegas game the other night I’ll take that fourth line over any Sprong pipe dream any day.

Don’t want one year of a guy who’s solid but won’t move the needle and will then walk or get an overvalued contract for any amount of worth while assets. We can probably find a guy who’ll get close to what Nyquist brings without giving up Hallander.

What makes you think Nyquist wouldn't move the needle?

EDIT:

Rust-Brassard-Nyquist

That that third line moves the needled IMO.
