I was thinking something of a 3-4 year contract around 3.75 mil. This seems like way too big of a gamble.

Great contract. They have him through his entire prime at a respectable cap hit. He is going to be a legit top 6 forward.

He has been ok. He only has 1 goal and is a minus 4 through 8 games, but overall their second line just has not played well. Of course, no Tuch and no Statsny most of the season, which is who he should be playing with. Too soon to really judge him too much though.

yes for sure its soon, he a strong skater and when he get hot, he will score in bunches !
