AA should not be out there in OT. Gus did well 3v3. DeBrincat is just so smart. Kane was close to finishing. Hawks got the 2 points they deserved tonight.

Get Gus out of there
- I Am The Breadman

You were saying? He’s out there for plays like that, definitely not his defense

Now he'll get 8x8 for that OT pass...

Give Gus credit there....great shift to set up The Cat GWG....still don't trust him....but WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
- philco28

He made a really solid defensive play on the shift before that too. He has the skill and speed for 3v3.

I was just trying to compliment him. His d was bad, his offense was great. He almost blew the game, then set up a beauty. 3 on 3 hockey for you ... well, me I guess. Haha.

Kane has made some nice plays this year, but really feel like his game has been inconsistent. I think we'll see better from him as the year goes on. I mean, he has some really good shifts, but sometimes just not on the right side of the play or giving it up too easy.
- breadbag

I think he's trying to do it all himself right now, once he includes his teammates he'll be great again

I think Forsling will replace Manning bc Gus does have good offensive skill that will keep in the lineup, despite his suspect D-zone play.

These are the kind of games that give the NHL a bad name. It was obvious that the Blues were not in this game, yet the refs allowed them back in (just like Minny game). Parity crap is crap. Is it all bad if a team gets blown out? Why do the refs have to help the morale of a team.

Too bad too, because the way that game was officiated, the Blues were all set up to win.

I mean, AA won it for you guys, just walked right up to Schenn and knocked him over to turn it into a 3v2 for the win.

I agree with both Breadbag and you - adding only “once he LEARNS his teammates”.

if this team can gets its act together defensively and special teams and oh yes craw comes back...well maybe just maybe it could be interesting this year

Too bad for Gustafson he has to play in his own end at times.

He nearly backs all the way into his own net vs Perron...then makes that pass the same shift

We were owed one after an even more blatant tackle by Eric Staal and 2 seconds later he put it in the net last game.

He nearly cost the game with his poor decision and speed earlier. He isn't good with that much open ice.

Gustafsson should stay in the lineup for the reason you cite.

I will say though, he needs to start showing more of that offensive flare (nice OT pass aside) consistently is he's going to be a trip in his own end.

It looks like he's trying to play a better overall game. He's just not there yet.

It will be interesting when Forsling comes back... which should be next week if he continues to progress.

i don't like the BS inevitable even up calls...i suspected the blues would get a couple of calls after they took 3 strt...but they looked the other way on some blues pens and nailed the hawks...

and hawk killer 91 got nothing tonight..very good keeping that guy in check
