Let's all take a moment to say how much better a John Moore less defense looks. Addition by subtraction indeed. |

Todd, if Dea becomes a staple on the 4th line, who do you think is the odd man out when Bratt is healthy? - Eliasforpresident
My guess is Noesen because Bratt was playing on that line in preseason and he looked really good paired with Mojo and Zacha |

My guess is its Bratt sent down, he is only ine who does not have to clear waivers. Barring any other injuries of course. |

Shvingter's boy was awesome in the face off dot last night winning almost 87% of his draws. That's how puck possession begins

I wonder if Shero getting guys like Dea, and whoever on D was a plan B-type to fill in the holes for sending better known players to Toronto for the Hold Out Kid? |

I would hope Boyle but guess Quenneville. There will probably be a bit of a rotation, though. - Todd.Cordell
Todd,
I know our top line has been solid, but what would you think of putting a speedy winger (Dea or Bratt) first line chances on the RW. I really feel palms needs to be a focal point on the second line if we want to promote two offensive lines. Hall can drive offense on his own and simply needs a speedy winger to compliment him on the right. I feel palms is often and oversight on an already stacked L1. |

I disagree. Palms can score. Hall drives the play, and that RW can get open. If we're able to keep the puck in the zone like we can with hall-hischier, then we need a scorer to capitalize on the chances the line. I don't care if the top line scores all the goals, as long as it's enough goals to win the game. If a line is creating chances, I want as many scorers on it as possible. No passengers or "complimentary" guys that aren't scorers, in my opinion. |
