Demelo, Lajoie and Chabot have all impressed so far this year. Ceci and Borowiecki have both looked rough in the Ottawa end and seem to need a puck moving chaperone to help them get the puck out of the defensive zone.
I would love to see Dzingel signed to a Clarke MacArthur type deal of 5 x $4.5M. He has very good offensive skill, great speed and a solid defensive effort.
As for Tkachuk, I thought he was quite tentative for the first 30 minutes but seemed to settle in well after that. I am sure that he will be a big positive for years to come. |

Another strong game from Chabot. Got an assist and was moving the puck everytime he was on the ice. Looks really comfortable on the PP as well. His defensive coverage is very good too for an offensive minded D man. |
