It ended up being a nice shift for him...I was worried after that backhand was like 8 feet wide just before that.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't think the 19 year old would just step into the first pair, but he has done it. Might be real good player when he matures more.

I didn't. I said Kane takes half a dozen plays off. And you said you wouldn't be surprised if Schmaltz retired mid game. I disagreed with that. Not a comparison of Kane to Schmaltz at all. But Schmaltz certainly isn't as bad as you think he is, and sorry to ruin your night but he isnt retiring soon, and Stan is gonna give him a lengthy extension.

I expect 6 years around 6M. I am in no way saying I agree with that contract.
