To me, it looks like Rutta isn't skating well. I know he had that groin injury. He seems to be moving really slow.

He's beyond bad, he is constantly out of position in the defensive zone. On the pk he followed Keith behind the net then Keith was pushing him out in front of the goalie WTF

The Hawks passing is terrible. Passes of the mark or if they are on the mark they're not received cleanly. Short-arming passes was all the rage in the 2nd period. The Hawks aren't good enough to even beat a team like Ottawa if their passing is as bad as it is tonight.

I still remember the Rutta Forsling pair for the first 30 games last year was a great defensive pair. I want to give Rutta a couple weeks to get himself going.

Switch to the Jets vs Blues game. Looks like the A league vs B league with the pace and size of both teams

Good defensive game there. Pens and Caps give no (frank)s about defense.

On the plus side...Jokiharju has been pretty good.

Interesting to note, but not surprising...they really fed the forth line Dzone draws. Not one Ozone draw for that line. 2 in the Neutral zone and 6 in the Dzone.

Martinsen has been excellent pushing the puck out of the zone and winning battles. Johnson... Well maybe he sits the next one and Hayden comes in and takes the job he should have

Between him and Gustafsson they make me want Forsling and Murphy back, and I don't like either them
